Balitang local: Zubiri masaligong matabangan sa mga Cebuano sa May Elections

CEBU, Philippines - Ang Cebu maoy adunay kinadaghanan og registered voters kun itandi sa 18 ka probinsya sa probinsya sa nasud.  Sumala pa sa Commission on Elections ang Cebu adunay 2,509,520 ka registered voters sa 2013 elections. Karong 2013 elections adunay 52,602,730 ka registered voters. Kini maoy hinungdan nga ang mga political parties dili gyud mosipyat sa pag-anhi panahon sa kampanya tungod kay maka-impluwensya gyud ang botos niini ngadto sa national results.

Malaumon ang kandidato sa United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) Juan Miguel Zubiri nga sama kaniadto suportahan gihapon siya sa mga Sugboanon.

Gipadayag ni Zubiri nga nalipay siyang dinhi sa Sugbo gihimo ang proclamation rally kagahapon.

“I am very pleased that our proclamation rally happened here.  This beautiful province is very close to my heart. I treasure the love and support that Cebuanos continue to give me. Everytime I visit here, their enthusiasm remains the same,” matud ni Zubiri

Si Zubiri nga usa ka dakong Cebuano ug pag-umangkon ni Ben Zubiri, ang kompositor sa popular nga awit nga “Matud Nila” nag-binisaya sa iyang pag-atubang kagahapon sa mga Sugboanon atol sa proclamation rally.

Dili na bag-o sa mga Cebuano si Zubiri gumikan kay magpunay na kini og ngadto-nganhi dihang naglingkod pa siya isip senador.

Usa siya sa mga migahin og pundo gikan sa Priority Development Assistance Fund  alang sa rehabilitasyon sa Vicente Sotto Medical Center ug nagpasiugda sa  "One town, One project of Migz Zubiri."

"Cebu is a vote rich province and it happened in the past that it can deliver victory. I believe UNA will win in Cebu and even in the whole Region 7 as well for the upcoming May elections, " matud pang Zubiri.

Kagahapon ang mga political supporters sa UNA nagdala pa sa ilang mga placards nga nag-martsa padulong sa Plaza Independencia aron ipakita ang ilang suporta sa UNA. (BANAT NEWS)
