Vow of elegance

Milestones and memories are an intrinsic part of any celebration at the Makati Shangri-La Manila, one of the iconic hotels in Makati City. For the past 25 years, the hotel has been part of many people’s lives.

This year, Makati Shangri-La Manila presents “Vows of Elegance: Celebrating Unforgettable Milestones” on Sept. 22 and 23. For the second time, (the first was in 2016), the hotel will partner  with one of the country’s legendary names in the wedding industry, Rita Neri, and her event planner team, to bring together the country’s leaders in events management. 

The hotel is immortalized as it continues to be one of the top venues for the grandest weddings and other occasions and celebrations like christening, birthday and debut to anniversaries and even “monthsaries.” It also prides itself for having one of the biggest premier ballrooms in the country. Furthermore, it boasts an outstanding level of personalized service, including specialized package, world-class cuisine and a seasoned events team that makes each moment the best.

Supporting this grand occasion are some of the country’s best: renowned event stylist Robert Blancaflor, popular celebrity makeup artist Albert Kurniawan and professional audiovisual equipment provider Forscink Inc. The two-day event will showcase captivating tablescapes by some of the industry’s premier stylists namely Jo Claravall, Zenas Pineda, Joyce Aguilar, Nikki Chatto, Gideon Hermosa, Teddy Manuel, Michael Ruiz and Dave Sandoval.

The highlight of Vows of Elegance will be the “Bridal Fashion Show” at the Rizal Ballroom on Sept. 22, 6 p.m., that will feature the latest bridal gown collections of designers Debbie Co, Michael Leyva and Patricia Santos; and the “Children’s Fashion Show” at the Lobby Lounge on Sept. 23, 3 p.m., which will feature luxe children’s gowns and tuxedos designed by Maureen Disini, Vin Orias and Cor Sunglao-Kho.
