“The true beauty of music is that it connects people.”— Roy Ayers

The Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP) recently held the “Artists and Friends Tea Musicale” at the North Forbes Pavilion in Makati City.

Led by the tireless FCCP president Tessie Rodrigo, alongside director-in-charge Raul Sunico and co-chairs Cristina Caedo and Boysie Villavicencio, the event showcased the incredible talent of FCCP’s brightest scholars.

Members and guests enjoyed enthralling performances by FCCP scholars including tenor Radner Ofalsa, pianist Nathan Gemina, flutist Peter Chanco, violinist Dane Perpetua and cellist Dianne Blando. Erehwon Dance Scholars also performed a variety of folk dances with a modern twist. A wonderful afternoon of music and dance capped by a lavish merienda was enjoyed by all.

The Artists and Friends Tea Musicale is truly a beloved and worthwhile tradition that should be celebrated for years to come.

Congratulations to the Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines for a successful event!

(The FCCP Annual Ball with the theme La Vie En Rose will be held at the Makati Shangri-La on Sept. 17.)
