La Salle head coach Aldin Ayo is now in the history books as the first man to capture back-to-back NCAA and UAAP senior men’s basketball championships in his rookie year with different teams. Last Wednesday, the 39-year-old former seminarian from Sorsogon piloted the Archers to a 79-72 win over Ateneo in Game 2 of the UAAP best-of-three finals to clinch the crown via a sweep. The previous season, he took Letran to the NCAA title.
