In front of 3, 650 football fans, the home team showed its might as they kept the new look Aguilas winless.

Wesley Dos Santos scored the first goal for Global Cebu FC in 24th leaving Davao's goal keeper Marko Trkulja frustrated.

After a 1-0 lead in the first half, Global Cebu FC continued to press on, adjusted their defensive stuff well especially with Amani Manuel Aguinaldo out on an injury.

Not even the presence of Azkals’ mainstay Phil and James Younghusband can stop Global Cebu’s momentum as Darryl Roberts sank their second goal in the 62nd while Paolo Bugas sealed the win with another goal in the 71st.
