What is one packing tip or trick that always works for you when you globetrot?

Pack for any occasion. For example, pack a dress and a pair of heels because you never know where you’re going to end up.

What to wear for trips to tropical countries?

Cut-off shorts, a statement top and a cute pair of mules. However, don’t expose too much skin. Linen shirts and maxi dresses are good alternatives to stay cool and look chic.

Who is your style icon and where do you find styling inspirations?

Jane Birkin, Jean Shrimpton, Rihanna and Kate Moss. I get inspired by my environment and men or women who have their own individual sense of style.

What’s in your carry-on bag for long-haul flights?

Moisturizer, facemask, and eye mask to keep my face hydrated.

What is your favorite Jimmy Choo shoe and bag?

When I wear Jimmy Choo I feel sexy and powerful, so I love all the statement heels, especially for special events. The “Lockett Petite” is my favorite because it’s the perfect transition from day to night.

Liz Uy @lizzzuy

What is your favorite travel destination for food, for shopping, and for the best photos?

I am fortunate to travel because of work and have lost count of the countries I have visited because of how busy the trips could get. When I was younger, I used to love New York and its fast-paced lifestyle. But now, my favorite would have to be Los Angeles where the vibe is more chill. For food and shopping, it’s a toss-up between Japan and Hong Kong. I can’t decide because I love them equally! For the best Instagrammable photos, it’s definitely the beaches in the Philippines.

What’s your definition of a perfect vacation?

Lots of sunshine with gin and tonic.

What’s one of your most unforgettable traveling experiences?

The challenge of trekking and to experience the spiritual energy in Bhutan was definitely a memorable experience.

Do you have any multitasking fashion or beauty items that are perfect to take on holidays?

Virgin coconut oil. I use it as a lotion, hair treatment, and makeup remover. For fashion, denim jeans are perfect to dress down or dress up an outfit, or just wear it casually with a tee.

What is your favorite Jimmy Choo shoe and bag?

The “Veto” silver metallic pumps and the orange knitted “Lockett Petite” with fringes.

 Yoyo Cao @yoyokulala

What is on your travel bucket list?

Anywhere where I can get an excellent view of the Northern Lights.

What’s one of your most unforgettable traveling experiences?

Quite a few. I almost had my phone stolen once during Paris Fashion Week, and it was quite an intense chase to get it back. That is one experience I won’t forget. But if we’re talking about more “fun” experiences, I recently saw a turtle while snorkeling in the Maldives.

What is one packing tip or trick that always works for you when you globetrot?

I always have my outfits sealed in Ziploc bags, so I know exactly where everything is and it also saves space. I also find that it’s easier if you already have the necessities, say electronics or skincare, already in big Ziploc bags, so you can just grab and go.

What to wear for trips to tropical countries?

I always say you can’t go wrong with a slightly sheer white shirt, denim and sneakers. A basket bag is a nice summer accessory to have. Cropped tops with matching bottoms are fun. Lightweight off-shoulder or mini dresses in linen also have a summer vacation look to them without going too far into the typical sundress territory.

What is your favorite Jimmy Choo shoe and bag?

The “Finley” cross-body bag and “Miami” trainers, both in denim. I love denim, I love sneakers, and I love bags that are just big enough to hold the bare necessities, so these two are the full package.

Justine Lee @justinelee425

What is on your travel bucket list?

Maldives was definitely on my list, but I am lucky that I got to cross it off for my birthday this year! I’d love to visit anywhere in South America, Morocco, Sri Lanka. I’d also like to go back to Hawaii.

What is one packing tip or trick that always works for you when you globetrot?

I write a schedule of what I’ll be doing and make a checklist of possible outfits for each occasion. That way, I will make sure I definitely pack enough (and with plenty of options).

Do you have any multitasking fashion or beauty items that are perfect to take on holidays?

A nice little shoulder bag is something that’s always good to bring with you. You can take it out during the day or dress it up a bit for dinners or a night out. For beauty, I recently discovered the Blue Serum from Chanel (and it’s amazing), otherwise, I would just suggest to pack a lot of face masks. I try to do one as soon as I get to the hotel after a long haul — your skin needs to stay hydrated!

What’s in your carry-on bag for long-haul flights?

My computer, a book, some skincare, a facemask, and a change of clothes and underwear. I’ve heard some nightmare stories about being stranded in airports for days… Wouldn’t you want to have clean underwear?

What is your favorite Jimmy Choo shoe and bag?

My “Lockett Petite” in camel suede with gold hardware. I love suede and camel’s my new favorite color for bags, it goes with everything. For shoes, I loved the “Veto 65.” They’re the epitome of the perfect day-to-night shoe. I could wear them with a dress for nights or a pair of flared jeans and a shirt for the day.

Vanessa Hong @thehautepursuit

What is your favorite travel destination for food, for shopping, and for the best photos? Food: Fes in Morocco, best food in Morocco! Los Angeles, for all the vegan eateries. Sydney because everything is ridiculously fresh. Shopping: Marrakech (best markets), Paris (most variety), and Tokyo (great vintage).

What’s your definition of a perfect vacation? Lots of sunshine, great food and culture.

What’s in your carry-on bag for long-haul flights? A lot of vegan snacks because airlines (even in business) often don’t have healthy alternatives; chlorophyll for an extra health boost; a big book; my journal; really good earplugs; and a silk eye mask.

What is your favorite Jimmy Choo shoe and bag? I’m loving the “Finley” mini bags from Jimmy Choo. They fit just what you need and the shiny leather is sort of rebellious. My style is really subtle so I like mixing it up with maximimalist accessories like the “Marine” sandals. I can see myself wearing them with jeans or a pair of leather skinnies.

Jane Chuck @janechuck

What is on top of your travel bucket list? Feeding giraffes in Kenya.

What to wear for trips to tropical countries? Statement T-shirts, perfect jeans, a pair of low-cut sneakers and a summer bag.

What is one packing tip or trick that always works for you when you globetrot? Play with layers instead of over-packing unnecessary clothes. Spend time on organizing; you will find a lot of wasted space if you pack at the last minute.

Do you have any multitasking fashion or beauty items that are perfect to take on holidays? A good red lipstick.

What is your favorite Jimmy Choo shoe and bag? My favorites would be the “Romy” glitter pumps and the “Lockett Petite” (bag) with tassels.

What was the highlight of your experience in Maldives? It’s the people I met during #chootravels. Working with Candice Lake was great. The sandbank picnic was pretty amazing too!

Anny Fan @anny_styleontop

What is on your travel bucket list? To visit the Holy Land.

What is one packing tip or trick that always works for you when you globetrot?

T-shirt, jeans and sneakers are the only things I need when I globetrot. If I go to some places where the weather is cold, I’ll pack one more leather jacket.

What is your favorite Jimmy Choo shoe and bag? The “Finley” mini bag in denim and all the sandals!

How was your Chootravels experience in Maldives? The most unforgettable experience was floating in the middle of the sea on the paddleboard for an hour in order to get the perfect shot!

Yvonne Ching @yvesching

What to wear for trips to tropical countries? In hot places, we can play at layering with some see-through material such as mesh and fishnet. Some statement jewelry pieces can also be key to fashionable outfits in hotter places.

What is your favorite Jimmy Choo shoe and bag? I love the Jimmy Choo Micah and the Finley Denim bag.

How was your Chootravels experience in Maldives? This Chootravels experience was super-fabulous. The team was so thoughtful throughout the event agenda. We got to do yoga on a Jimmy Choo yoga matt, drink from a Jimmy Choo water bottle, and even swim with a Jimmy Choo float ring. Last but not least, we got to pick our outfits and shoes in the ultimate dream closet. It couldn’t get any better.
