MANILA, Philippines - What we discovered while making our respective playlists is that we each have a different idea of what summer is all about. From being lazy in a humid room, fan to our faces, to living it up at the beach, here are songs for every possible summer scenario, from YStyle with love.

311 reminds me of summer, but the original is just so much sexier.

Swedes aren’t really known for their warmth, but Summer Heart is a blend of chill pop and beach-sensibility that makes you question the band’s Swedish origins.
Swim – Fickle Friends
Super fun and super pop, this catchy tune makes me want to plunge into a pool every single time I hear it, for no other reason than that it’s called Swim.
Always – Panama (Classix remix)
This makes me want to drink margaritas by the beach and just chill. The Classix remix is much better than the original, making it much more presko than the lyrics imply.
Kickback — School’s out and it’s time to unwind, relax and leave all your worries behind. This upbeat electro-pop playlist captures the carefree and fun-loving spirit of summer.
