MANILA, Philippines - We can all agree that buying makeup is 70 percent about the packaging. We can’t help it; we love cute things. Tony Moly’s new Panda Dream Collection — a selection of lip crayons, compact powders, mascara, and so much more — is most certainly high up on the Richter scale of cute. Everything within the collection takes inspiration from our favorite cuddly creatures, with every product festooned with cute panda faces all over.

So far our favorite item is the Panda’s Dual Lip and Cheek in 02 Pink Berry. At P598, it combines a creamy pale pink blush that translates to a powder finish once applied on the skin. On the right side is a pale lip color that suggests a bit of flush within looking like makeup. It’s the perfect item to tote on the go, and with such cute packaging (the panda on the compact has blushing hearts on the cheeks) it’ll be an extra nice treat to reapply throughout the day.

The Panda’s Dream Contour Stick collection (P578) has a range of shades (from highlighter, concealer, to shading) to let you define your facial features however you’d like to. It’s interesting to see a Korean brand offer a darker shade, given that contouring is not a widespread practice in Korean beauty, but the latte-colored contour stick would be a great concealer alternative for morena skin. Multi-functionality is definitely one of the best things about Tony Moly’s Panda Dream collection, and made better with really, really cute packaging.
