Party for one

MANILA, Philippines - There’s something about being home on a weekend that scares some people. Call it FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) or being accused of being an introvert (which isn’t a bad thing, to be honest); some of us are just itching to make our weekly two-day vacation count.

But spending a weekend alone also opens up room for self-discovery. Just imagine the possibilities: your comfy bed, a mug of peppermint mocha (from Starbucks because sticker season is here), your favorite album in the background and a few pretty magazines to get lost in.

This week, we scoured the shelves of lifestyle and furniture brand Heima’s Brixton branch for pretty and interesting reads to enjoy by your lonesome. Embrace the solitude and immerse yourselves in the stories and creativity of other people. Just because you’re alone, doesn’t mean you can’t have a party for one.
