Falling hollow block kills toddler

MANILA, Philippines - A three-year-old boy in Manila died after a hollow block, accidentally dropped by a construction worker, fell on him Monday afternoon.

John Brandon Garcia died from head injuries at the San Juan Medical Center. 

Garcia was playing near Ronhel Claud’s house, which is undergoing renovation, when construction worker Francisco Barcial accidentally dropped the hollow block, said Police Officer 3 Aldeen Legaspi.
