Gallery News: Janice Liuson-Young at The Crucible
MANILA, Philippines – Janice Liuson-Young tries her hand at abstract art in “J Walking,” which is on view until June 12 at The Crucible Gallery, fourth floor, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City.
Known for her ability to depict the human form, “J Walking” is moving beyond Young’s comfort zone — of playing outside the lines.
“I wanted to see what would happen if I stepped outisde pedestrian lanes and trespassed into the danger of the unfamiliar,” Young explained.
