WATCH: Bam wishes good luck to Pinoy pro gamers in DOTA 2 event

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine esports patron Sen. Bam Aquino threw his support to Filipinos playing on the world stage of multiplayer online game DOTA 2.

Eleven Filipinos are competing in the seventh edition of the “The International” in Seattle, USA next month where the prize pool exceeded the P1 billion mark.

Aquino particularly mentioned two Philippine-based teams, TNC and Execration, which are both attending the annual event for the second straight year.

The International will be held at the Key Arena in Seattle from August 7 to 12.
