WATCH: Lea Salonga performs in musical comedy show finale

MANILA, Philippines - Lea Salonga recently made an appearance at the season one finale of the CW's musical comedy show, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Playing the role of Myran, the aunt of Josh who is portrayed by Fil-Am actor Vincent Rodriquez, the 45-year-old Broadway star sang "One Indescribable Instant." 

Having known for her crystal clear voice, Lea has sang for many Disney films and most prominent musicals like Miss Saigon, Les Misérables and Allegiance.

The episode where she appeared is titled "Paula Needs to Get Over Josh," which aired on April 19, Tuesday in Manila.

During the filming, Lea also took over the Entertainment Weekly Instagram account to promote the show.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend portrays both the Filipino culture on American TV as it tells the story of Rebecca, a successful lawyer based in Manhattan and her childhood love, Josh Chan.
