WATCH: Colmenares says FDI-focused economy is 'wrong'

MANILA, Philippines — Senatorial candidate and Bayan Muna Rep. Neri Colmenares on Thursday urged the government to support local manufacturers and push for nationwide industrialization.

"Itong ating obssession sa foreign investor driven economic strategy has been proven wrong. It did not succeed before," Colmenares said.

Colmenares is a part of the senatorial ticket of presidential aspirant Sen. Grace Poe and her running mate Sen. Francis Escudero.
