WATCH: Apple Watch online ad

MANILA, Philippines - Apple watch was first announced during the iPhone 6 launch last September, but it was only on Monday's Spring Forward event that the company revealed the new gadget's price and availability.

Aside from revealing the price and availability, the company also unveiled the first commercial for the Apple Watch. Luckily, it's now available online.

Apple Watch's top-of-the-line edition comes in a casing made of 18-karat gold. The gadget marks the technology trend-setter's attempt to usher in an era of wearable computing and lift its sales with another revolutionary product.

Unlike other commercials which focus more on what the device looks like, Apple watch's focuses on what the gadget can do. The minute-long ad showcases the various apps (mapping, flight tracking, pulse monitor, calorie counter and activity tracker) on the watch's face as it shifts from a design and band combinations to another.

There’s no voiceover; only music and a tag that says  "the watch is coming" and the April 24th launch date.
