Ginebra rookie Chris Ellis wins Slam Dunk title

Digos City, Davao del Sur -- Chris Ellis had a perfect elimination round before going through some anxious moments in the finals opposite his teammate Elmer Espiritu.

 

Ellis was a little bit disappointed with his dunks in the final round but still happy he won the event. The high-leaping rookie promised in this exclusive interview with Philstar.com that he'll definitely be back next year to defend the title and hoping it would be against the 5-time slam dunk champion Nino Canaleta.
