Philippine Airlines and Philippine STAR let you fly to NYC for free
MANILA, Philippines - Start spreading the news: Philippine Airlines will now fly to New York four times weekly starting March 15, 2015. And you can be a part of it by winning a free ticket to New York through Instagram or Facebook.
How? Here are the rules:
•The #FlyPALNYCwithPhilStar contest will run from Feb. 1 to Mar. 8, 2015.
•You can send entries to the contest via either Instagram or Facebook with its own hashtag #FlyPALNYCwithPhilStar for ease of tracking and monitoring.
•Participants must post a New York-inspired creative photograph on their own Instagram or Facebook page with a post in 100 words or less answering “I want to go to New York because...” The photo and the posted text should complement each other.
•Only one entry per Instagram or Facebook account will be accepted.
•A total of two winners will be announced by Philippine Airlines and the Philippine STAR. Each will receive one round-trip Manila-New York-Manila economy class ticket from Philippine Airlines, exclusive of applicable airport fees and government taxes.
•Winners will be selected by Philippine Airlines and Philippine STAR based on the creativity and style of written post (50 percent), and photograph (50 percent). You must also email your entry to mabuhaymiles@philippineairlines.com (Subject:#FlyPALNYCwith PhilStar) together with your real name and cell phone number.
•Philippine Airlines and Philippine STAR reserve the right to disqualify participants deemed to have used inappropriate posts, images, language and unauthorized images.
•The winners can claim their prize at PAL Marketing Office, third floor, PNB Bldg., Macapagal Blvd., Pasay City and bring their cell phone upon claiming. They can use their ticket between March 15, 2015 and March 15, 2016.
•Philippine Airlines and Philippine STAR shall have the right to use any photo or image submitted as entry in the contest for marketing and promotional purposes in all media, advertising, promotion and publicity campaign or exhibition without additional compensation, but will be properly acknowledged in every material. Participants shall transfer and turn over to Philippine Airlines and Philippine STAR the full ownership of the copyright to the photos or image.
•All decisions made by Philippine Airlines and Philippine STAR pertaining to the contest will be deemed final and irrevocable.

Starting March 15, 2015 Philippine Airlines will fly four times weekly (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) to New York via Vancouver for a two-hour transit stop . Departure is 11:50 p.m. from Manila. From New York to Manila (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), departure is 11 a.m.
