MANILA, Philippines - It’s a wonderful time to be in Hong Kong now. Ongoing until Jan. 1, 2015 is the WinterFest featuring events and activities for families, friends, and those with their loved ones will never run out of chances to make lasting memories in Asia’s ultimate winter destination.

Watch Christmas unfold at the Statue Square Christmas Tree in Hong Kong Island. Soak in the enchanting atmosphere with your loved one and hang a Love Lock to seal your romance for a truly unforgettable Christmas.

Head to the Central Harbourfront Event Space for the Great European Carnival. Rides, games, parades, and performances await, which all capture a dynamic European theme perfect for spending quality time with your family and friends.

Hong Kong’s signature attractions also join the WinterFest with Hong Kong Disneyland’s Disney Paint the Night Parade. Hello Kitty makes her debut at Madame Tussauds while Broadway-style musicals and creative magic shows premiere in Noah’s Ark. Ocean Park is jazzed up with glistening rainbow lights in Ocean Park Christmas Sensation 2014. Rounding up the fun is Love Christmas at The Peak, complete with carol singers and a giant heart overlooking Hong Kong at Sky Terrace 428.

Shopping experiences also get a magical boost as Hong Kong’s top shopping hubs join the WinterFest with sizzling sales all over town. More photographic moments are also in store at Langham Place’s The Iceberg — A Journey to the Polar Wonderland and at The Link’s Lok Fu Plaza, where a 10,000-square-foot party venue hosts the unveiling of Disney Channel’s five new attractions in Asia. For a truly romantic Christmas getaway, Hong Kong’s WinterFest also has special tours for couples. meanwhile, will find delight in the 360 Lantau Sunset Tour, a dreamy way to view Lantau Island’s diverse attractions.

Other not-to-be-missed happenings are Hong Kong Pulse 3D Light Show and Phantom of the Opera. Foodies can also flock to the Hong Kong Food Festival while shopaholics go to the Brands & Products Expo and the Hong Kong Mega Showcase. The city also invites everyone to welcome the New Year with New Year, New World Hong Kong Countdown Celebrations where Victoria Harbour lights up with world-class pyrotechnics to welcome 2015.
