Air race lands at Enchanted Kingdom

MANILA, Philippines - Air Race, the latest family thrill ride to hit the Philippines, is at the Spaceport zone of Enchanted Kingdom (EK). The ride opened on Dec. 7 as part of the 19th anniversary celebration of EK. EK CEO and president and International Association of Amusement Rides and Attractions (IAAPA) 2014 chairman Mario Mamon worked with Zamperla, a theme rides designing and manufacturing company best-known for creating thrill rides and roller coasters worldwide, for the installation of the Air Race 6.4. “The ride  simulates the ambience of an ‘acrobatic airplane flight’ with banks, loops, dives and weightlessness that will surprise even the thrill-ride explorers,” said  Zamperla.  It can accommodate 24 riders in one cycle as it has six four-seater airplanes. Only passengers with a height of four feet. and above will be allowed to try this ride.
