Waterfront Hotels & Casinos: World-class Filipino Hospitality

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Waterfront Hotels & Casinos is proud to be identified as the country’s largest Filipino-owned hotel chain in the country. It manages first-class hotels and has presence in the key cities in the archipelago.

In Manila, it operates the Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel and Casino and G Hotel Manila by Waterfront; in Cebu it operates the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino and the Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino Mactan, while in Davao it is represented by the Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao.

The Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel & Casino is located in the heart of Manila’s business, cultural, shopping and entertainment centers.  Then known as the Manila Hilton International and recognized as one of the pioneering hotels in the country, this glorious structure was once home to icons such as Muhammad Ali, the Jackson 5 and Matt Monroe. It offers the finest accommodations with 486 well-appointed rooms, each specifically designed to address the needs and demands of business and leisure travelers, both local and foreign.

Just recently, it unveiled its newly renovated rooms and suites.

Following months of meticulous planning, Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel & Casino is set to represent a new benchmark for luxury hotels and casinos in the Bay area. Fusing old Filipino elements with contemporary décor, the design of the hotel’s new rooms and suites exudes a style that captivates one’s senses.  The concept created by Sonia Santiago Olivares is a continuing contemporary adaptation that uses fresh, clear colors, making every space invigorating, welcoming, happy and festive.

For the most discerning business traveler, Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel offers its highly anticipated Ambassador Club, which provides the finest and most intimate form of luxury. With suites of 60 square meters in size, every distinguished guest will be welcomed by lavish dining and living areas.  The adjoining room prides itself with the Waterfront Slumber Splendor Bed, which has a memory bed topper that has no pressure points, providing extra support and maximum comfort. With this feature, rest is certainly an assurance.

The exclusive Ambassador Lounge sets a completely new bar of business lifestyle as it boasts of fully equipped, well-advanced individual workstations and boardroom suited for private meetings. This by-invitation lounge heightens the grandeur experience with its daily buffet breakfast and range of beverages during cocktail hour.

The hotel also prides itself for its calming and upscale Premier Suites. The magnitude of opulence of this sanctuary equals the prime perspective of its rather discriminating guests.  While the rooms are spacious enough to enjoy, guests may also take pleasure from its own Premier Lounge.

To those preferring as much privacy, the Executive Suites will let them discover more of the city from every corner of the hotel. The room projects edgy and elegant attributes from the living area to the modish bedroom.

At the deluxe rooms, each guest will imbibe a familiar atmosphere that is warm, trend-forward and comfortable. A more distinct rendition of it is the Deluxe Premium, which is roomier at 46 square meters. The turquoise color scheme of these rooms ascertains a calm and refreshing retreat.

On the culinary side, the hotel boasts of an exquisite selection of restaurants serving Asian, Continental, European, French, Filipino, Malaysian and Cantonese cuisines for that ultimate gastronomic pleasure.

Soon, Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel is unveiling its newly renovated presidential suites named after the late Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. and former president of the United Nations General Assembly, Carlos P. Romulo. The suites promise extraordinary comforts and luxury in the midst of a bustling city with modern, full-serviced accommodation that’s ideal for business trips, vacations and “staycations.”

G Hotel Manila by Waterfront is tagged as the first bona fide boutique hotel in the country. It has an unconventional black and white interior design in the lobby and outlets and 50 well-appointed rooms that have their own pantry area. The property offers 24-hour butler service, living up to its motto of “service to the letter.”

Located along Roxas Boulevard, G Hotel Manila by Waterfront awed both locals and foreigners when it officially opened its doors in 2006. To date, the property has two outlets and a grand ballroom perfect for thematic, social and corporate events.

The Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino is conveniently located in the center of Cebu City, just 30 minutes away from the airport.  The hotel consists of 561 well-appointed guest rooms and suites. To date, this property has the biggest, best and newest rooms in Cebu City having undergone major renovations in 2006. It launched its themed suites designed by renowned architect Anton Mendoza.

It also houses seven hotel-owned and managed food and beverage outlets, all of which have an assigned foreign chef to give full value to their cuisine and be at par with the other international hotel chains in Cebu.

The property is home to both local and international conventions, as it has the second largest convention site in the country, next to PICC, designed to adapt to any event and convention size with its 10 function rooms and two grand ballrooms.

Strategically located in front of the Mactan International Airport, the Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino Mactan is just a three-minute drive to the industrial zone; 15 minutes to the white sand beaches of Cebu, and 30 minutes away from the business and financial district.

The property’s design is able to maintain its Filipino-Spanish touch from the lobby to its outlets and rooms. The property has 164 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, and three hotel-owned and managed outlets. Guests can get to enjoy its pool and gym and the extensive services of its newly renovated business center.

The Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao is tagged as the resort hotel of the group. It overlooks the Davao Gulf, and is 10 minutes away from the Sasa Wharf and 20 minutes away from downtown Davao. To add, it is also only 20 minutes away from the Davao international and domestic airports.

The hotel is comprised of four low-rise building of 159 luxurious Filipiniana guest rooms and suites that overlook blue waters and lush tropical gardens. It also owns and manages five F&B outlets. It is the only hotel in Davao that has an outdoor tent that can accommodate 1,200 people, a perfect venue for both social and corporate gatherings and events.

The Waterfront Hotels & Casinos operates close to 1,550 rooms, employs 1,560 people, and has over 41,500 square meters of convention and gaming space.

Guided by its vision “to be the leader in the tourism industry committed to provide the gracious Filipino hospitality toward total customer satisfaction,” Waterfront Hotels & Casinos is truly Filipino and world-class in the hospitality industry.
