Smart’s latest smartphones come with free Deezer

MANILA, Philippines - The latest and most premium smartphones from Smart Communications Inc. now sing a sweeter tune, thanks to global music streaming service Deezer, which allows postpaid subscribers to listen to over 30 million songs over ultra-fast LTE connections even while on the go.

Smart recently announced the introduction of its new Unlisurf Premium Plans, which bundle the hottest smartphones of today with a free Deezer Premium+ subscription for two years, unlimited surfing with access to LTE, plus free calls and texts to all networks.

Users can choose from a range of high-end smartphones that include the Sony Xperia M (Plan 1174), the Lumia 1020 (Plan 1675), the Sony Xperia Z2, and the Samsung Galaxy S5 (both at Plan 2175).

“With our new Unlisurf Premium Plans made better with free Deezer music streaming, subscribers now have a ‘smarter’ way to discover music,” said Kathryn Carag, Smart postpaid marketing head.

“And with Smart’s ‘supercharged’ network that delivers ultra-fast LTE connections, they will be able to stream music from Deezer’s 30-million-track catalog whenever and wherever they want,” Carag added.

Available in more than 180 countries around the world, including the Philippines, Deezer provides one of the most exciting music streaming experiences, thanks to its intelligent recommendation algorithm, which allows users to discover songs perfectly suited to their unique tastes and lifestyles.

This is complemented by a curated experience delivered by over 50 Deezer editors around the world, who serve push music suggestions that complete Deezer’s Man+Machine recommendation system.

Existing postpaid subscribers, meanwhile, can take advantage of the various Deezer Music Packs that come with a free Deezer Premium+ subscription. These include Deezer Daily for P25 (one-day Deezer access plus 25 SMS and 10MB of mobile data for Deezer streaming), Deezer Weekly for P125 (seven-day Deezer access plus 125 SMS, and 50MB of mobile data for Deezer streaming), and Deezer Monthly for P250 (30-day Deezer access plus 250 SMS, and 100MB of mobile data for Deezer streaming).

These music packs will also be made available to prepaid subscribers soon.

As an exclusive perk to early subscribers, Smart will be giving those who sign up for any of the Unlisurf Premium Plans a P175 bill rebate for six months.
