Samsung Galaxy Core 2 now more afforadable

MANILA, Philippines - Life’s little luxuries come in tiny packages, and the Samsung Galaxy Core 2 is one of them. In a move seen to bring power and performance to more smartphone users, Samsung announced that its popular Galaxy Core 2 phone will be available at a friendlier price of Php 6,990 beginning October 1, from the former price of Php 8,990.

Upgrading users’ smartphone experience, the Samsung Galaxy Core 2 boasts of a powerful performance. It uses a Quad-Core processor on the latest Android KitKat OS, allowing users to enjoy running apps and games seamlessly on a 4.5” large screen. Users can also expect faster webpage loading, uninterrupted video playing, and juggle different applications smoothly without freezing or crashing.

Samsung Galaxy Core 2 comes with the Dual SIM standby function that keeps users always connected and doubles up on convenience. This feature lets users separate work and personal calls, and take advantage of different pricing plans.

With its five-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and VGA (0.3-megapixel) front-facing camera, users can take brilliant shots and ‘selfies’ that can be easily uploaded into different social networking sites.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi b/g/n, Micro-USB and 3G. The handset measures 130.2x67.9 x 9.8mm and weighs 138 grams.  Ensuring topnotch performance is 2000mAh battery that allows for many hours of uninterrupted use.

The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 is available through Samsung’s authorized distributors in Metro Manila.
