Amok slain in shooting

CAMP VICENTE LIM , Philippines  – A man  who ran amuck was killed by a police officer in Lemery, Batangas on Wednesday afternoon.

Nicanor Alilio was pronounced dead on arrival at the Batangas Medical Hospital.

A certain Senior Police Officer 1 Martinez shot Alilio, who was believed to be drunk and under the influence of illegal drugs, when he tried to attack village officials in Dayapan at around 8 a.m.
