Need your love advice. I have a crush on my officemate but he has a girlfriend. At first I thought it was a harmless crush kasi one way as in ako lang naman. But later on when he invited me for coffee and naging madalas na, I feel he has feelings for me. He would put his arms around me, bring lunch for me, etc. Pero wala siyang sinasabi. Ayoko mag overanalyze but what I should I do? Most of my friends told me to avoid him. Please help.

Let me guess. You wrote to me kasi naghahanap ka ng kakampi. You know your friends are right and even if you didn’t ask them, you know exactly what to do. You’re looking for an answer you want to hear. Well, I hate to break it to you, but I’ll be saying the same thing (and this goes out to everyone who can relate): Girl, bawas-bawasan mo na ang frappe. Napaghahalata na. Alam mo ba kung ilang calories ‘yan at ga’no karaming asukal? It’s not coffee, it’s milkshake. It’s not good for your health or your crop top. Hindi mo napapansin ang effects dahil may nakaakbay sa’yo at kinikilig ka while you’re sipping it.
Of course, he wouldn’t say anything. Right now, he gets the best of both worlds: he has his girlfriend who is clueless and he has you who accepts whatever is given to her, no matter how little. Why would he want to ruin it?
There is nothing to overanalyze here. Or analyze. Heck, there is nothing to underanalyze. There’s a 99% chance you won’t listen to me, but I’d like to take that 1%. Stay away from him. Find a new job if that’s what it takes. Start a new life, take on a new identity, humiram ka ng wig kay Basha o kay Laida kung kinakailangan. You deserve real love. ‘Yung sa’yo lang, ‘yung ikaw lang. ‘Yung hindi masakit, ‘yung hindi nakakasakit. Imagine if you were the girlfriend.
