MANILA, Philippines – Nelson Macababat Jr. and Jo-Ann Emperado were wed last May 8 at Shrine of Jesus — The Way, The Truth and The Life Coral Way, Central Business Park Reclamation Area, Pasay City Manila. Nelson is a cinematographer at ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation, while Jo-Ann is the marketing manager of SM Mall of Asia.

Consolacion “Connie” Granatin Tolentino-Yap, married to Atty. Robert S. Yap, and daughter of the late Dr. Theodoro S. Tolentino and Ana Granatin of Obando, Bulacan, is celebrating her 95th birthday on June 4 at the Champagne Room of The Manila Hotel. Connie is the head of the Yap family that spans five generations with 103 direct descendants, including 10 children, 93 grand, great and great-grandchildren.
