TripAdvisor awards Filipino hotels

MANILA, Philippines - Resorts World Manila’s Maxims Hotel has been awarded the 2014 Certificate of Excellence by popular international travel website TripAdvisor.

The award is based on the quality of reviews and opinions earned on TripAdvisor over the past year. Maxims Hotel consistently earned a four out of five rating among travelers who share their reviews and experience on the website whose content is predominantly user-generated.

Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu likewise received the award for the second consecutive year.

Criteria for the citation also includes the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months. Guests invariably remarked on the exceptional care given to them by staff, and the remarkable level of extra attention they have received.
