Ateneo bucked off a flat start to thwart a hapless Adamson side hacking out a 67-52 victory in the 77th season of the UAAP men's basketball tourney at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.

A slow-starting Far Eastern U shifted to high gear in the second half to turn back Adamson, 90-73, and clinch the first Final Four berth in the UAAP Season 77 men's basketball tourney at the Smart Araneta Coliseum yesterday.

University of Santo Tomas overcame its biggest test in the UAAP Season 77 beach volleyball tournament as the Tigresses' Cherry Rondina and Rica Rivera nipped Adamson University's Amanda Villanueva and Marleen Cortel, 21-13, 17-21, 16-14, to punch the outright Finals berth Sunday at the UE Caloocan sand court.
