5-game bill ushers in Martin summer tilt

MANILA, Philippines - The 15th Fr. Martin Summer Cup starts today with a five-game bill capped by the main seniors match pitting reigning UAAP champion Ateneo against NCBA at the San Beda College gym.

Ateneo-NCBA duel is set at 3 p.m. Other seniors games pit La Consolacion College of Manila against PMMS at 10:30 a.m. and last year’s NCAA runner-up Jose Rizal versus Informatics A at 1:30 p.m.

The event is organized by Ato Badolato, Joey Lim and Kurt de Guzman with Aric del Rosario as commissioner.

St. Jude squares off with Letran at 9 a.m. and San Beda tackles University of the East at 12 noon in a pair of junior division matches.
