MANILA, Philippines — Aside from playing the game itself, Golden State star Stephen Curry wants to remembered for his legacy in the shoe industry.
Curry is currently tied with Under Armour and already released a fourth iteration of his shoe line.
In an interview, the two-time NBA champion said his shoe line will continue even after he retires.
"I take a lot of pride in what I do on the court and the opportunities that come out of that, especially with people wearing my name on their feet and their body with all of the product that we make," he said.
"I took a chance with UA and UA did the same and we created something special and hopefully it lives long beyond my playing career."
Curry signed with Under Armour in the 2013 offseason and has since become the face of their footwear line.
