Engineers, New Era 5 clash in NCRAA
MANILA, Philippines — Action in the Sta. Lucia Land-NCRAA men’s basketball tournament resumes today with three games on tap at the TIP Gym.
TIP takes on New Era at 10 a.m. while Olivarez College and Philippine School of Business Administration tangle at 12 noon before De Ocampo faces St. Francis in the 2 p.m. main dish.
The De Ocampo Cobras swept their seven games in the elims last season and went all the way to the finals before bowing to the Colegio de San Lorenzo side.
The St. Francis Doves, on the other hand, made it past the elims last season but lost to PATTS in the quarterfinals.
The hosts, meanwhile, brace for a tough outing against the New Era side, one of the newcomers out to make an early impact in the league and duplicate the other new teams, AMA, University of Luzon and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, victories last week.
