Tanduay Athletics U-18 invit’l beach volley up

MANILA, Philippines — Cantada Sports, in cooperation with the Philippine Volleyball Foundation, will stage the first Tanduay Athletics Luzon Secondary (Under-18) Invitational Beach Volleyball Championships tomorrow at the Cantada Sports Center sandcourts in Taguig.

Boys and girls under 18 years old from Baguio, Zambales, Marinduque, Cavite, Pangasinan and Isabela are vying in the event, which also drew the participation of FEU, NU, RTU, UMakati, Xavier School, Olivares, Mandaluyong High School and Pasay City High School. 

Thirty-three teams (18 boys and 15 girls) are seeing action in the two-man team tournament sponsored by Tanduay’s Bong Tan. Participants must be enrolled in the same school. 

There are no entry fees with complimentary food and drinks to be served to all participants, accredited officials and guests of the organizers. Out of town entries are billeted at the sports center.
