Tenorio takes blame for Ginebra's Game 3 loss

MANILA, Philippines – Barangay Ginebra point guard LA Tenorio took responsibility for their PBA Governors’ Cup Finals Game Three defeat to Meralco Wednesday, saying he failed to do his job in the fourth quarter.

“I have to admit we didn’t execute down the stretch. It’s my responsibility. It’s not coach Tim’s, it’s not Greg’s, it’s not Justin’s. It’s on me. That’s my task that’s why I’m on the floor,” said Tenorio.

“Kaya lang pati ako nagulat, pati ako hindi alam ang gagawin (But even I was surprised. I didn’t know what to do),” Tenorio also said.

Tenorio presided over big closing flurries in their victories in Game One (102-87) and Game Two (86-76).
