UP Pep Squad teases return to UAAP cheerdance tiff
MANILA, Philippines — Prepare for a comeback.
The University of the Philippines Pep Squad will return to the UAAP Cheerdance competition stage after pulling out last year.
A teaser was released Monday in their official Facebook account.
The UP Pep Squad opted to skip the competition last year as a sign of protest for their unresolved complaints during the 78th edition.
Instead, they joined the Asian Cheerleading Dancesport Championships wherein they bagged six medals.
The National University Pep Squad copped their fourth straight title last year, with the FEU Cheering Squad and Adamson Pep Squad finishing as runners-up.
The UP Pep Squad is tied with the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe as the squads with the most championships with eight apiece.
The 2017 UAAP Cheerdance Competition will be held on December 2.
