Odom: Lakers better with Lonzo Ball

MANILA, Philippines — Former NBA champion Lamar Odom believes that the Los Angeles Lakers is a better team with the arrival of Lonzo Ball.
Appearing on Complex News' Everyday Struggle, Odom said the rookie will bring a different dynamic to the team.
"I think Lonzo is going to help fill the stands, so I think that's all that matters in that case," Odom said.
"I think they'll be a lot better. They'll suck but they'll be a good suck," he added.
The two-time NBA champion also commented on LaVar Ball's decision to pull out his son LaMelo out of Chino Hills High School and said the patriarch is a "control freak."
"That seems drastic. Because you('re) just (going) to take him out of school because (you) don't ike the coach? What if he don't like (LaMelo's) coach in college or in the NBA if he makes it?"
Odom was part of the last Lakers championship team in 2009 and 2010.
