Ripped jersey mars beginning of new Nike-NBA partnership

MANILA, Philippines — It's not just the players who are testing the waters in the NBA preseason.
Previous partner adidas ended its deal with the NBA after 11 years, and the league found a new outfitter in Nike.
The NBA and Nike signed an eight-year deal that will begin in the incoming season.
Unfortunately, Nike had its first boo boo when Los Angeles Lakers' Tyler Ennis ripped the back of his jersey.
Minnesota's Aaron Brooks grabbed Ennis in an effort to slow him down but ended up ripping the "0" on Ennis' shirt.
The Timberwolves ended up winning the preseason game, 108-99.
