MANILA, Philippines — Chooks To Go-Pilipinas imposed its will against an undermanned Shabab Al Ahli-UAE squad, pulling off a 92-57 win last night to earn a shot at fifth place in the 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup at the Chenzhou Sports Center in Chenzhou, China.

Guards Kiefer Ravena, Almond Vosotros and LA Revilla combined for 46 points and led the Filipinos to the victory that lined them up for a rematch with Mono Vampire Thailand on the final day of the eight-day Asian inter-club tournament tonight.

Fil-Am guard Jason Brickman sizzled with 27 points and 11 assists while former PBA import Mike Singletary came up with 20 markers and 13 boards as Team Thailand topped Taipei Dacin Tigers, 92-89.

The Filipinos and the Thais slug it out for No. 5 in the 10-team competition at 12:15 p.m. today. Chooks To Go repulsed Mono Vampire, 115-102, in their elims faceoff.

Chooks To Go outscored the UAE squad, which played only seven players, in each quarter en route to the 25-point rout where the Filipinos were once again paced by Ravena with 20 points that went with six rebounds and one assist against one error.

Vosotros made 14 points on 6-of-9 clip.
