Valdez to play for Taiwanese squad

MANILA, Philippines — The "Asian tour" continues for the volleyball phenom, Alyssa Valdez.
After suiting up as guest player for 3BB Nakornnont in Thailand, Valdez will be lending her services for club team Attack Line in Chinese-Taipei.
"I'm going to be there the next few months," Valdez said.
"Sana ipagdasal niyo ako para maganda ipakita natin sa Chinese-Taipei."
The 24-year-old old phenom first caught the attention of the Chinese-Taipei coaches when she donned the national colors in the Asian-U23 tournament in the Philippines two years ago.
She said she was invited to play but begged off because she still has a year of elligibility left in the UAAP.
"Ngayon nung AVC nagkita-kita ulit kami they asked me If I could go there nga ulit." she said.
It has been a busy year of volleyball for Valdez. She was part of the national team that saw action in both the AVC and the SEA Games and is currently playing for club team Creamline Cool Smashers.
