LGBA 3-stag elims under way at PCC
MANILA, Philippines — The second leg of the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) stag circuit resumes today with a three-stag elims at the Pasay City Cockpit.
Another three-stag elims will also be held on Sept. 18 with the qualifiers clashing in the four-stag finals on Sept. 22.
Backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000, the LGBA circuit is expected to draw more than 600 entries before it winds up on Oct. 6 .
Meanwhile, three gamefowl breeders set the pace in the 2017 LGBA Breeder of the Year race.
Jay Gonzalez (Batang Taal KBJ), Godo Beltran (GPB Mayon Gamefarms) and partners Jervy Maglunob and Noel Cosico (Triple J Gamefarms 2) remain unbeaten with seven wins apiece.
Maglunob and Cosico, finalists of the 2017 World Slasher Cup 2, bested the 233-entry field last Friday, also at the PCC.
