MANILA, Philippines — Ray Allen is taking more side trips in his visit to the country.
The 10-time NBA All Star surprised the NCAA-leading Lyceum Pirates in their campus Tuesday.
Allen said the Pirates should be wary of their opponents in the coming round as they are now the target of every team.
"That's how the best teams lose to the teams that aren't so good record-wise. Because you take them for granted," he said.
The sweet shooter reminded the Pirates of a basic attitude to keep if they want to remain on top — hard work.
"You don't win a championship the day they give you the trophy. You win the championship every morning when you get up at 6 in the morning," said Allen.
The Pirates surprised the league after ending the first round of Season 93 with a flawless 9-0 card.
