Las Piñas derby gets going today
MANILA, Philippines - Aces from select members of the Ultimate Fighting Cock Championship and National Cockers Alliance gear up for a battle royale in the 28th Anniversary six-stag derby starting today at Las Piñas Coliseum.
The three-stag elims of the five-day stagfest unwraps at 3 p.m. with 70 fights on tap. The other elimination rounds are set on Aug. 30, Sept. 6 and 13 with the finals slated on Sept. 27.
New and upcoming gamefowl breeders, ready to challenge the so called big-time cockers, spice up the list in the event offering P2 million.
An Allen Roundhead trio of host Mayor Nene Aguilar, featured recently in the 2017 Fiestag at the Mall of Asia Arena, will be raffled off.
