WATCH: ONE founder eyes to solidify presence in Philippines
MACAU — Chatri Sityodtong is pouring everything into ONE Championship's Asian growth.
This, according to the founder of the fight promotion, is in an effort to “celebrate mixed martial arts"—which he noted as Asia's most enudring contribution to the world.
And after making remarkable strides in the last five years, Sityodtong, who is first and foremost an MMA practitioner before a businessman, stressed on expanding his brainchild’s reach in the Philippines.
Sityodtong, who is regarded as one of the four conservators of muay thai in the world by the highly revered and late Yodtong Senanan, said in a press conference that he is looking to hike the number of ONE Championship’s events in the Philippines.
But such an investment is not of without merit.
