PCC braces for big derby bash
MANILA, Philippines - Pasay City Cockpit marks its 31st anniversary with a four-cock derby on July 31.
New PCC pit manager Gerald Go said deadline for listup is on July 30 from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Entry fee to the event, backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000, is P11,000 with guaranteed prize expected to reach P400,000.
Managed by Team Sagupaan of Rep. Patrick Antonio, PCC’s operation began in 1986 under Joey Dy and has since emerged as one of the top venues for big-time derbies.
“Provincial participants can get real time updates of their fights via Global Cockfights Live,” said Go.
Meanwhile, the four-stag finals of Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) seven-stag derby will be held on Friday.
Out of 91 entries (July 14 and 21 elims), 12 posted three wins each.
