Gorayeb worried over BaliPure's lack of aggressiveness

MANILA, Philippines — Although BaliPure swept the UP Lady Maroons in the PVL Open Conference Saturday, head coach Roger Gorayeb is still not happy with the team's intensity.
Gorayeb rued the team's lack of aggressiveness despite a 25-23, 25-21, 25-23 victory Saturday at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
"Parang nawawala 'yung aggressiveness ng mga bata," he said.
BaliPure turned heads last Reinforced Conference when it made a surprising trip to the finals, but ended up losing to Pocari Sweat.
This season, Gorayeb noticed a slightly different team, with lesser effort and firepower.
But he was quick to tone down the problem and vowed to take action in the succeeding games.
Gretchel Soltones led everyone in scoring with 22 points.
BaliPure will next face Air Force on Sunday, July 16, at the same venue. - Randell Angelo B. Ritumalta
