MANILA, Philippines — American boxing trainer and analyst Teddy Atlas Jr. did not hide his frustration over the unanimous decision handed down in favor of Jeff Horn at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.

Atlas, who was doing commentary for ESPN at ringside, showed his disdain for the result and told Horn that he lost right after the bout.

Horn scored a controversial 117-111, 115-113, 115-113, upset over eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao Sunday morning and snatched the WBO welterweight title.

"Congratulations. Great effort. I thought you lost," Atlas said.

The decision shocked Atlas and almost all of the boxing world.

According to statistics, Pacquiao should have won. CompuBox, a statistics provider for all major boxing events, showed Pacquiao outlanded Horn, 182-92.

Hence, Atlas' violent reaction.

Atlas, who scored the bout 117-111, furthered his rant in SportsCenter after game.

"It's a corrupt sport. I've been in the sport 45 years. I'm sorry," he said. "What else could it be? Corruption."  - Randell Angelo B. Ritumalta
