AFP, PNP clash for UNTV crown

MANILA, Philippines -  Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police dominated their respective semifinal rivals to arrange a keenly awaited showdown for the UNTV Cup Executive Face-Off crown at the Pasig City Sports Center over the weekend.

The top seeded AFP Cavaliers drew another big game from Gen. Gener del Rosario to beat the Judiciary Magi, 86-70.

Del Rosario fired 17 points while Col. Oliver Visliño backed him up with 16 markers, the bulk coming in the third quarter where the Cavaliers ripped the game wide apart, 70-45.

The PNP Responders, on the other hand, banked on the hot-shooting duo of Supt. Anthony Padua and Supt. Peter Limbuan to blast the Department of Justice Boosters, 89-77.
