MANILA, Philippines – Chris Ross and Charles Rhodes didn't have time to celebrate their conference-best accolades.

The Best Player and the Best Import of the Conference weren't able to ride on the euphoria off their invidual awards and extend it to a victory against TNT in Game Four of the PBA Finals on Wedenesday night.

"I don't really care about it. I wanna win a championship," Ross said. "The other stuff is secondary. The reason I'm playing the game is to win a championship."

"It's a team sport man. We just gotta go back and look at what we did wrong," Rhodes chimed in. "It really hurts, man. It really hurts."

"This loss is probably our worst loss this year--definitely," the foreign reinforcement added. "This one really hurts."

Ross bested his teammate Alex Cabagnot for the Best Player of the Conference award, collecting 1,038 points and becoming the franchise's second guard to win the plum.

Rhodes, for his part, garnered 1,174 points to join a list of elite line of cagers that include Norman Black and Gabe Freeman as the Best Import of the Conference. He topped Star's stats machine in Ricardo Rattlife.

But despite the sulking hint to the cagers' tones, they remain optimistic that they can bounce back in Game Five.

"We just gotta go back and look at the film, see what our mistakes were, and try to learn from it," the big man said.

"We just have to play better. as one of the leaders, it starts with me," the guard added. "We'll be ready on Friday."
