World Slasher holds 4-cock finals today

MANILA, Philippines - The World Slasher Cup 2 Invitational 9-cock derby resumes today at the Smart Araneta Coliseum with the four-cock finals for participants with 2, 2.5, 3 and 3.5 points.

Six remained unbeaten at the end of the semifinals last Sunday, including Tonton Lim (Lucban), Rep. Patrick Antonio (Sagupaan T2S 500), Aurelio Yee and John Gutierrez (Casa Juan Resort), Rep. Khulit Alcala (VJA Khulit CC Combine 2), Escolin and Eslabon brothers (Escolin Eslabon) and Frank Berin (Mulawin).

They take center stage again tomorrow in the grand finals. 

Riding high on the support of provincial and Metro Manila cockers the last five days, another huge crowd is expected today, according to WSC media partner Manny Berbano of Pitgames Media.

The WSC 2’s main backers are Thunderbird and Petron, as well as Filipino-owned company Excellence Poultry and Livestock Specialists.
