Men’s volley pool struts wares in Imus

MANILA, Philippines -  The 18-man national men’s volleyball pool will hold an exhibition game on June 1 at the Imus Sports Complex in Cavite City to raise funds for the Phl team set to see action in the SEA Games this August.

The game, which starts at 2 p.m., will showcase the skills and moves of mainstays Johnvic De Guzman (team captain), Peter John Queil, Kenneth Sarcena, John Carascal, Greg Dolor, Jack Kalingking, Bonjomar Castel, Geuel Asia, Mark Alfafara, Dave Cabaron, Relan Taneo, Bryan Bagunas, Anakran Abdilla, Reyson Fuentes, Jeffrey Malabanan, Louwie Chavez, Edward Camposano and Herschel Ramos handled by national coach Sammy Acaylar presented by Atleta apparel and Gatorade.

Event organizer and national team assistant coach Hertito Monzon is inviting all Caviteño volleyball enthusiasts to support the project that aims to raise funds for the training abroad of the national team in South Korea and Japan before they compete in the SEAG on Aug. 19-31 in Kuala Lumpur.
