MANILA, Philippines — Thailand leaned on its top gunner anew to outscore Singapore, 67-57, in Day Six of the 2017 SEABA Championships, Wednesday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Chitchai Ananti again paced his team—this time, with 17 points. Two more cagers in Kannut Samerjai and Patiphan Klahan chipped in double-digit production to put the game beyond their foes’ reach.

Ananti added two boards, three dimes to his last performance in the tournament—a stark contrast to his scoreless showing against the Philippines on Tuesday night.

It’s as if Thailand no longer needed extra firepower, as they managed to clamp down on the Singaporeans for forty minutes with only nine cagers seeing action.

Wuttipung Dasom, who once exploded for 40 in the tournament, was one of the three Thais who did not see action.

The Thais closed their campaign with a 4-2 card. They land on the third spot in the skirmish, with the first and second set to be disputed between the host Gilas and Indonesia on Thursday night.

Singapore, on the other hand, loss dropped to 1-4. They look to bounce back against Vietnam also on Thursday.

THAILAND 67 - Ananti 17, Samerjai 15, Klahan P 10, Muangboon 8, Jaisanuk 5, Chanthachon 4, Klahan C 3, Sunthonsiri 3, Ghogar 2
