MANILA, Philippines — Indonesia cruised past the listless Myanmar, 123-50, to extend their unbeaten run in the 2017 Southeast Asian Basketball Association, Wednesday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Jamarr Johnson proved he was worth the wait—and all the naturalization trouble—posting 17 points, seven rebounds and a block.

Hardianus Lakadu topscored for the Indonesians with 18 markers, six assists and five steals.

“Myanmar is I think one level below us so we won by a big margin,” said head coach Wahyu Widayat Jati.

“There's more energy to us,” the Indonesian tactician added. “Because the last time we just played with nine players, now we play with 11 players.”

Aside from Johnson, American-Indonesian Arki Wisnu also made his tournament debut. Although he finished the game with only seven points and two rebounds and two assists in just eight minutes of action.

And as far as streaks go, Wana Aung continued his aggressive play to the delight of the Filipino spectators. He led Myanmar with 16.

The Indonesians ripped the game wide open by 75 points, at the same time, they’ve dropped the Burmese to 0-5.

Indonesia caps off their SEABA campaign with Gilas Pilipinas, while Myanmar takes on Malaysia in hopes of securing their first win.
